They told me.

They would take the PS3 I sent in, put in on the shelves to be repaired later and then sent to other customers.

and every kid in my school who sent in their 360's shipped it and got it back in 2 weeks and it played like almost brand new so, obviously theres something else to it, both systems, when broken arent guaranteed to work even after it was repaired

um...Why did they have to send it back in the first place?? Most ofhe kids I know wiu ps3s never had to send heirs back on the 1st place. Only ones that did...broke it themsleves smh

everyone i know said ps3 has the same problems 360 does, overheating, and well have it solved by having them either liquid cooled or put on bigger fan ducts

Are you SERIOUSLY using this as a point? This isn't 2006. Nintendo has released tons of wriststrap upgrades and even a rubber Wii-mote protector.

FACT: 360 was built with crap.
Fact: 360 still has problems with the new(old..) units.

wrong, 360 is built with some of the best stuff available. need i remind you that microsoft usually has the best stuff,well vista and crap like that isnt good at all, but xbox is a great console plus between the years 2002 and 2005 you think 3 years is enough for a game console to be developed
microsoft has its own division for video games, and 3 years is a crap ton of time,

obviously im defending xbox on this, but think of it this way, someone brought up a long time ago that sony almost went bankrupt because of ps3 and everyone was thinking ps3 is not worth it. well now look you guys think ps3 is the greatest thing on earth and think everything else is junk, kinda like rednecks, oh ford is better chevy sucks nuts, oh chevy is the stuff, ford is a piece of crap see the similarity

so what the 360 has problems, but, think of how people treat it, i mean which will last longer a 360 sitting on a stand with room to cool down, or in a confined space with no ventilation what so ever.

Umm I hate to say it but can't everything be built better? Each day we develop newer and better technologies in everything. Whether it be gaming or paper clips. The main thing is price. Sony nearly went bankrupt due to PS3 manufacturing.

Sure most people agree that the 360 isn't perfect but neither is the PS3 or the Wii for that matter. All three place different aspects on the table that make them all great consoles. The 360 has the most sophisticated online system (if you want to argue then go ahead), the PS3 has the capabilities for the best graphics (developers still have yet to use them) and the Wii is well, a nintendo console and offers "causal gamers" the opportunity to have a next gen console.

No one will win the console war. Everyone has differing opinions. Fanboy or not. And Auto you have no right to be calling people fanboys considering your recent responses to a humorous article about a blue hedgehog.
