X-Box and PS3 opinions

Ghostbusters: The Video Game has just recently been released AND came out for both consoles allowing for a better head to head comparison.

And an article was done by a site called Lens of Truth.
The PS3 version also has a REQUIRED 3.9 gig download to "make it load faster" and the x-box version still does load faster.

Another example of favoritism by a company.

When two consoles share an engine the console that is making more money is the one that will get the most effort out of it. There's already a few games out there (both 360 and PS3) that put these graphics to shame. In-house engine is definately better and so is Unreal engine 3.

Well, whatever. As long as they play the same gameplay-wise then we have nothing to worry about.

id say one of the only games ive seen on ps3 that wipes xbox clean was metal gear solid 4 that had crazy awesome graphics

Classic example of game designers not knowing the overall specs of the machines they are making them for.

id say the perfect example in history of a game designer maxing out the systems capabilities was retro studios with the metroid prime series, even with the wii or gamecube they had some great graphics

Basically, imo, it all boils down to this...EXCLUSIVES! Playstation and PS2 were great. Why? Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Crash Bandicoot. ....Noticing a pattern? These were ONLY for Playstation. Nintendo has Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, etc. And now, Microsoft has Master Chief, Gears of War, Fallout and incredible war games! We have to stick to what we're good at! Playstation should NOT have given Final Fantasy to X-Box because that was going for us too! Nor should it have given up Metal Gear! Snake is still ours though...that makes me happy. (You guys get happy Raiden =P) The one Ratchet and Clank game that came out for PS3...got 10's and 9's....again!

ok so bottom line is I agree. ps3 should try something new. something that is exclusivly for them. you will not believe what I saw today. a ps3 chat pad. lol. I agree with you though playstation had its momments.

no they dont make you pay for getting it fixed

playstation needs more playstation exclusives, the only one i see is infamous and god of war,
while nintendo has too many to count, and xbox has halo gears of war, project gotham, dead or alive, perfect dark, and chrome hounds

we have god of war, infamous, crash, jak, and ratchet & clank. But:

1. they discontinued Crash.
2. Jak is for younger audiences
3. Ratchet & Clank is actually for teens, but ppl can't look passed the cartoonish graphics.
4. We also used to have the newer Final Fantasy series.....but....XIII is coming out for 360.

We had MGS4, Killzone 2, Haze (yeah right), Ninja Gaiden Sigma (2 is coming), Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet (totally love it), Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Resistance series and inFamous.

360 exclusives are way better, though.

But we still have time.

By the way, for PSP owners who love Soul Calibur...there's a new one coming out for the PSP.

360 > PS3

What the 360 has as an advantage
More games and exclusives. Better marketplace. Better online. Though, the 360's fan stinks! The PS3/Wii was built much better too.

Little Big Planet isn't a PS3 exclusive soon, its coming for PSP

It's sorta different from its older brother.

Its pretty much the same...except the OMG HD GRAPHICS

i forgot about Heavenly Sword and all of those. HEAVENLY SWORD IS AMAZING!!! So is Ninja Gaiden, but you can button smash in it...

If Little Big Planet comes out for PSP it's still a Playstation exclusive. That's why i included Jak, and Crash. They haven't come out for PS3 yet, but they're still Playstation exclusives.


We should make our own version of smash bros.

but naruto as a series is not an exclusive, killzone, resistance, god of war, and little big planet are ps exclusives cause the whole series is only for ps3, mgs is comming to 360, but hey, ps3 and 360 have totally different fan bases, 360 is hommage to some of the biggest trash talkers, and pays homage to the major league gaming pro circuit games (call of duty4, halo 3 and gears of war 2 are the only pro circuit games)

the one thing i do hate about xbox live is the kids under age 15, omfg, they are the nastiest little things on the planet

just yesterday a kid who is 12 years old starts talkin major crap at me and he challenges me 1 on 1 at the dome map on call of duty world at war, hes still talkin crap after i beat the kid 23 to 9

nah...u cant knock x-box for that. Trash Talkers are everywhere. I was playing Hot Shots Golf! GOLF! How do you trash talk at golf!?!?!?

Though, it wouldn't be fair to be saying PS3 HAS IT AND XDOX DOESNT. As many 360 owners own a PSP.

Its really funny that Microsoft paid the makers of the PS3 graphics card to make the same one but better for 360!
