lmao the xbox 360 is the best thing that ever happened to the general gaming community. It's sad to see people still investing in the ps3, its going nowhere fast. but hey not my problem people like what they like. anyway all are welcome, the forum I have is for gaming fans all around the world who love to play games, not to mention the game reviews section coming soon and media talk section.

hell no! Dreamcast was a waste of money. My friend went to but it, and the cashier actually told him to put it back because the newer games were coming out soon after. He bought it anyway, and BAM Playstation came out. Then X Box and Gamecube and whatnot. So he had no use for it.


PS3 is great! Don't knock it till you try it. Any game that I've played for BOTH systems, always seems to not only look better, but play better as well. That includes 2K9, COD, GTA4, and a few others. Blue Ray is just one of the awesome things about PS3. And don't knock the games, there are many great games on the way. Infamous....is solely ours. And Infamous, is great. We've got Final Fantasy coming out and a few other games as well. 360's Metal Gear is not gonna be nearly as good as PS3's. I betcha.

The 360 hasn't even reached it's half-life yet. With Project Natal the 360 will gain tons of sales from not only 360 owners but from most Wii owners too. Project Natal is the next REAL step in gaming as we know it. Using only your body to control the movements on the screens. inFamous was awesome and I really liked it. But Sony needs to re-evaluate the actual lifespan of the PS3 or their gaming department will close.
And not many people are really into buying blu-rays of their favorite movies after just spending an insane amount on a PS3. It may have hardware galore in it, but the fact of the matter is that the general populous doesn't understand how to use it. Also it has been said that graphics are "better" on the PS3. This is not true, the graphics are merely sharper. Some people like that but some don't. So the "graphics are better" thing doesn't work for sales.

no no....they're better. lol. Our system is plainly better overall. You think the PS3 won't evolve as well? In due time. Right now they're exploiting what they have for now. And yes, many people DO like blu rays of their favorite movies. Depends on what movie it is though. Movies like Transformers, and Dark Knight, are blu ray movies. When Transformers 2 comes out, hundreds of thousands of blu rays (maybe millions) for this movie will be bought.

If you believe so take a look at this, it may not change your opinion but it might.

Resistance Fall of Man and Gears of War, both are in the same kind of setting and have similar landscapes, settings, etc.

Both were released with or soon after the actual console. As you can see, Gears of War was clearly better than Resistance in graphics and it was released a year earlier.

In my opinion PS3 has the capabilities to have better graphics it is just that by the time they actually do come out with games with those capabilities, it will be too late.
