This RPS is set right after the original RPS in 2033 but continues three months after Kyle McKenzie's death.

Slowly the world is starting to rebuild. European and South Pacific governments have regained control of their territories and struck a treaty with the Fallen. The Superhuman Abilities Intelligence Sector (SAIS) has formed the Alliance with a large number of Fallen and is focusing on rebuilding the post apocalyptic America. The Alliance has acquired the West Coast through a long year of negotiations and the American government is beginning to stand on its own once again. Unfortunately, the East Coast is till deemed as "Fallen territory" along with some of the southern states. A line has been drawn down the middle of the country. North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma are considered danger zones for both Human and Fallen while New Mexico and Texas are abandoned and considered wastelands after The Elders left.

Now Washington D.C. is known as Fallen central and The Elders believe they have control over all Fallen within the country. Unfortunately the shaddy Quantum Industries, formally a corporate mega giant which specialised in manufacturing weapons, vehicles and other equipment for the United Nations, is preparing to establish it's own sort of order in the world. Now the race is on to see who can conquer the country and take control. Will it be the Alliance? Quantum? Or The Elders?

Right so for those who are confused about the previous Quantum RPS, I will clear things up. Quantum: The War was the prelude to our original RPS and this one is set three months after the original.

Character Creation:

For this RPS I have decided to be a bit more strict about the abilities and characters. All new characters will need to be approved by me so we don't have people using the same abilities. In this RPS you will be able to take control of all characters you have created in the previous stories or characters that were based off you in the original story I wrote all those years ago.

The rules for this RPS are much the same as previous RPS'...

- No killing other poster's characters or NPC's without their permission
- No piloting other people's characters (Will make some exceptions for the Telepathy ability)
- No unnecessary "plot twists". As the story progresses through the first few posts the goal will become clear

Ability rules are...

- No new Mimics. Empathic Mimicry, Intuitive Aptitude, Ability Theft and Ability Replication are banned for new characters.
- The seven ability rule for the Mimics has been discarded in this RPS due to using older and more powerful characters such as Cameron Might and Kyle McKenzie
- New characters are limited to ONE ability, you may have a second as long as the second ability is linked to your first ability. For example: Rapid Regeneration and Healing (other people)

Now remember to come up with your character bio and then PM it to me so I can approve it. It would be a good idea if members who posted in the previous RPS' sent me updated bios for their characters too. As for the characters from the original story, I will discuss what we wish to do about those characters.

Bio: Working with a newly established shadowy organization, this young yet highly experienced agent (who specializes in neautralizing Fallen threats) and his partner, Agent "Light", are sent in to the Eastern coast of the United States on a mission to somehow bring it under the law and wrist the Elder's control of it through either diplomacy or force. Agent "M" is a sort of individual who likes to interact with others, usually in the form of small-talk even if the person is in no obvious mood to talk, yet he will sometimes lose himself in thought and often turns the 'small-talk' into a full-blown conversation, infuriating the recipient until "M" eventually gets the point.

He and "Light" have been partners for an untold amount of years, always assisting one another. Their partnership seems to border on friendship rather than partners of similar profession.

Appearance description (mental picture): Wears a simple black suit with a white shirt underneath, short brown gloves, and brown steel-toed boots. Dons a pair of black trousers held up by two brown belts. Completes the outfit with a black fedora hat to close the shady visage.

Main ability: Unknown

Likes: Small-talk, repartee, analyzing, smiling, apparently everyone

Dislikes: Doesn't appear to have any, yet.

Picture of character: Has a large black overcoat that is not formal in any form but instead holds a more military look to it. The coat also has a larger collar going up to his nose. He has the bottom part of his coat open showing a chain mail body suit with peices of armor here and there. He has a sword attatched to his back hidden (not well) in his coat. He has green eyes, black unkempt air, and a scar going from the right side of his face to the left diagonially.

Abilities: 1. Ability to solidfy and portion of darkness be it shadows or the black of night but with shadows this has a shorter range then in pure darkness. 2. Enhanced speed and strenght in a shadowed or dark area gains more power the darker it is.

Likes: Those who follow his "warrior code", weapons be it anything and everything, a good battle, being in a battle.

Dislikes: Dishonorable cowards, anything that would interfere with him having fun, weak opponents.

Bio: Melina worked many long and painfully hard years as an undercover agent for the SAIS, better known as Superhuman Abilities Intelligence Sector, one of the Agency's finest employees.

Though she had several opportunities to participate in multiple nation and worldwide campaigns, her operations were primarily centralized in New York City's Manhattan Island, a section of the city she had also called home.

Her tasks ranged from the seemingly mundane to the completely unbelievable and her unique and versatile skill set and remarkably high mission success rate yielded her a once and a lifetime opportunity. Through her devotion and loyalty to the Agency, this was an opportunity in which she humbly accepted.

Both her past and present would have to become virtually erased, her very existance nullified to all but those inside the confines of Superhuman Abilities Intelligence Sector's headquarters. She was to become one of them. Artificially enhanced with shapeshifting capabilities. Transforming her into one of their most lethal instruments, able to sneak in and strike silently by disguising herself as something she most certainly isn't.

Her current assignment and mission as of now... Is one only known to her and her ominous employers...

Personality: Quiet most of the time and hates being disturbed when she's working, she's a good partner if she's assigned to, yet she prefers to work alone (her previous partner died on her arms).

Likes: Having complete control of things, loves roses.

Dislikes: Fight without a valid reason and cowards.

Background: Winters spent many years searching for Kyle during the war but was unsuccessful in his hunt. When the world ended he was approached by Cameron Might. Cameron tought him to control his hunger and abilities, Winters then left Cameron and joined the SAIS.

Physical Desciption: Standing roughly 6 feet tall, this well built athletic male weighs in around 200 pounds and often appears clad in heavy black cloth cold weather gear. A long tail trench coat covers layers of long sleeve shirts, hanging down over a thick pair of pants and hardened boots built to traverse even the harshest of winter terrain. Cloth straps were wrapped around both of his hands and over the sleeves of the overcoat, loosely tied and the ends with excess material flailing downward.

His hair and eyes, dark in color, almost as dark as the outfitting he dons, though still retaining natural color. His skin tone is not the usual cliche pale of a coldborne superhero and it has a much, much healthier caucasian tinge to it.

Perhaps one of the most unqiue and most notable features, is the solid layer of ice that sheathes his hands and arms, even through to clothing he wears over his them. This is something that Jack can hide, though not without a great amount of effort and discomfort, so he often just shows it off instead. Besides, it can also serve several offensive and defensive purposes should the need arise.

Strapped to his back, his weapon of choice, a European styled two-edged sword. Tied to his coat in a similar manner to his hand wraps with the ends of the cloth loosly hanging down. Of course, no armed man is without a backup, and Jack is no exception. He also has a smaller knife attached to the upper left front side of his coat, just in case he has any unexpected close encounters...

Background: Jack grew up in a small isolated town outside of Anchorage Alaska. Signs of his Cryokinesis began to surface very early in his life. Around the age of nine or so. He was an intelligent boy, realizing his differences from the general populace and often chose to exercise this ability in privacy. But, it didn't stop them from finding out.

At age ten, a year after these abilities first appeared One night, Jack was out having a sleepover with local friends when "they" first showed up at his home. Jack returned the following morning to discover both of his parents had been brutally murdered.

Still a young child, Jack was confused and scared. More so then he already was and the only ones who he could seek out for comfort were gone, leaving him alone. Jack disappeared into the wilderness, feeling somewhat responsible. Fearing someone had discovered him and killed his family just because he was unique, he assumed they were there for him and he couldn't stay. He couldn't call anyone for help. He just had to go out and try to survive on his own.

And somehow, he did. In some of the most remote portions of the Alaskan wilderness, Jack struggled and faught hard, the will to live keeping him going day after long day. He learned to survive off of what the land provided him and eventually he was so detached from the world around him that many of it's catastrophic events passed on by him without him ever taking notice. In fact, until just recently when attempting to rejoin civilation in search of vengence towards those who destroyed his life and lkilled his family... He didn't even know others like him existed...
