My lag issue

Lag is usual in a normal better.

Try a differen't CPU.
Maybe your graphics card/Ram/Bad connection.

Also If you can live with it...

Certain times like on Srb2,Bad graphics cause it too lag on Open-GL.

Can security programs be part of the problem?

i dun think so.
if your running a full system virus scan with your norton or whatever then it might lag the thing. but if your not then its not a problem.

may i know what system (windows 2000, 1998?? vista, xp, mac, linux???) you use?

and your ram (usualy in 516MB, 256MB, 1GB,2GB,4GB)

damn i got an acer too lolololol
um that pict didnt give much infomation..
but that computer is advance it has 4 procesor and 2GB Ram so its a super god computer better than mine so far i didnt know quad processor is out yet
