Elfin Lied: Second Wave: Chapter 10: Allied Strike

Chapter 10: Allied Strike.

I scan my surroundings, ten troopers around me, Kyle and Ryu in front of me. I focus my mind on the flood lights and street lights around me, I then cause them to overload and explode...this gave me the chance to escape. I put my armor in stealth mode and watched them all from a nearby roof top. Kyle and the others finally get their sight back and start looking around for me.

God Damn it! He escaped.

Kyle laughs. Oh Ryu, you thought you were something else? Captain Tundra has always pulled an ace out of his sleeve now and then.

Kyle gives the order to have the truck return to the base, exactly what I wanted him to do. I planted a tracking device under the truck as I escaped. I watch them all leave and I then radio Frost.

Frost.

Yeah.

Is the transmitter working?

It is. So are you going after them?

I am but I need my second set of armor. So I am returning.

Second?....never mind I will see you back.

I cancel my radio call and head back to the base. I arrive and I quickly suit up into my new armor. It is just as light as the other armor but it resembles traditional ninja armor. My shoulder to my elbow are exposed, no helmet but a guard over my mouth and a helmet on my head. I gather my weapons, one high grade katana sword, 6 throwing daggers, on my forearm is duel blades that retracted when I need them, twin silence 9mm hand guns.

Frost and Xavier come down to the room, they got a smirk on their faces. I look at Frost, I seen that look before.

Frost what are you up to?

Well I got the team ready, we are coming too.

Well I certainly hope so, I mean I am not taking on an army on my own.

I wouldn’t miss this fight for anything.

We all agree, then gear up for the up and coming mission. About one hour later we arrive not far form the base were Kyle is located. I take a look around, 3 Diclonious are part of this group, I look at them, they lower their heads. I walk to them and look them all in the eye.

You are our equals, never lower your head, hold it high cause today you are taking a big step in your freedom and peace for us all.

I then give the signal to start the mission.
