Almost as soon as Sam landed the cops pulled up. And they had him show them where the body was he waited outside as the came out with a body bag then a cop approached Sam. "Alright sir do mind filling out some information" asked the cop, "not at all" said Sam, He filled out the information then he flew back to the airport. He then drove to where he was staying. As he drove he couldn't get the morbid scene of the dead man out of his head. He knocked on the door to the house and his sister opened it up and said "Your back early" "Yeah but im going back home soon though sorry" said Sam, he thought about telling his sister what happened but decided not to. "Well can you at least stay for dinner" asked his sister, "Well alright" After dinner Sam drove to the airport. As Sam reached Washington he set his watch for the change of time zone. He found a taxi and got a ride home. When he got home he checked his mailbox and searched through them and found one signed as anonymous. He ripped it open and read it.

A smiley face was written in marker on the bottom right corner of the letter Sam moved his finger over it and was astounded to see it smear the surprise was quickly replaced with fear. If it smeared that meant it was written recently. He ran inside his house and locked all the doors and windows. As he walked to his room he felt as if he were being watched. "Your just being paranoid" he said to himself, The feeling didn't stop when he went to bed. Sam got up and went to work. As Sam reached the National Robotics Research Station or the NRRS he thought about what the letter said about the micro project he was baffled why would anyone want that? the project was obsolete it had failed two years ago. He got out of his car in the parking lot and walked inside and passed a group of high school students leading them through hallways and into test areas was Dr. Sally Winters wearing a white lab coat and a beaded necklace as she and the students passed he waved then kept walking. He passed someone in maintenance screwing together a AC unit. Sam walked into a computer room that held logs of any project including micro it didn't take long to find the micro project. as he looked over it he realized that the files were incomplete he plugged in his USB drive and downloaded the information that was there. Once it was done Sam went to the executor of NRRS. When he got to his office he wasn't there so he went and got some food at a Mexican cuisine. On his way back he couldn't help remembering the gruesome scene inside his cabin. "That's gonna happen to me if im not careful" He thought to himself,
