I charged at my opponent. He flipped, as I thought he would, so I grabbed his feet and slammed him down onto his back. I heard the crowd roar...awesome. My opponent then jumped to his feet, and gave a familiar fighting stance...where had i seen it before? He dived to the ground in front of me, catching me by surprise, and grabbed my legs. He, then rolled over, twisting me, and making me fall to my face, then jumped to his feet while still holding me. He turned me over once more and put my legs underneath his pits, and turned over, thus putting me in what is called a "boston crab" . I looked for a way out as he began to apply pressure. Making sure not to scream from the agonizing pain, I used my flexibility to arch my back just enough to grab his waist, (It hurt me a lot too....could've broke my own back) and then pulled him forward to the front of me. I saw his full body come crashing down as he fell on his back right before my eyes. I pushed my self up to my feet, as he jumped back up to his. It was like he wasn't feeling any pain....so I figured...nobody can die here....I grabbed my blades.....then so did he. Shit...bad move...now I REALLY have to spar. He chaerged swing his blade at my feet, and rising upward. I moved my feet and stopped his blade with one of my own, then brought the other around to meet his chest, but he put his arm in the way...that's when I saw the blades on the arm of his uniform. I had my sword stuck in them. He pushed my other blade off with his own. and then brought it back around like a baseball bat towards my head, as I just barely blocked. Now we were both fighting with one blade, both of us no more than 6" away from each other. Both our right hands in a lock. He kept aiming for my chest afterwards...I was wondering why...if he was the spy, shouldn't he be trying to kill me? OR maybe he's still trying to keep a low profile. So I decided not to aim for his head either. I wasn't sure if he gas would keep me alive after being beheaded.
After fighting on the defense for a good 3 minutes...I decided I couldn't win this way. I had to find some way to get back on the offensive. As he swung his powerful sword back around to my side, I decided to jump instead of block, leaping over his head, and landing behind him....both our arms were still locked, so he unintentionally flipped back as well, landing flat on his back and his sword flying out his hand. I knew the gas would keep him alive, but just barely, so I decided to push it to the extreme limit. I grabbed his left arm with my locked arm, so he couldn't block, and then sunk my sword into the right side of his chest, not aiming for his heart. He became still.....I unlocked my sword from his arm, and raised it in victory as the crowd cheered. Then they began to get quiet....my opponent was still lying there motionless, and now just under him....blood began pouring out. I was confused...is this supposed to happen?!
I looked at Mandalore...he was on his intercom, and from his gestures, he was screaming. Paramedics pushed pass me. They got my opponent onto a stretcher and carried him off. I went back to General Fox's side, and asked:
Nebulon: What's going on!? What happened?
Fox: Someone shut off the gas....that guy is gonna die...he's already lost too much blood.
Nebulon: What!? How could that happen!?
Fox: Either 2 things...Our spy is Dev or James...or he's still out there. One thing's certain...that was a fellow Mandalorian.
.....I was so upset now....Mandalore was rushing over in a speed walk.
Mandalore: Come on!
We both followed...
Mandalore: Dev just reportd that he found someone running from the gas pressure room. And James says he's got someone cornered now!
to be continued....
