Well, I have been asked several times and well I havent really had an answer, until now. As a goaltender, you get to see things from a different view, and well your the last line of defense. Your the center of attention. That can be a double edged sword, if you make a great save your a hero, let a bad goal in, you a bum. But the main reason I play goal is cause its fun as hell.
I played in a league for 6 years until I quit for personal reasons and a crippling illness which put me out for 14 months. Its only now that I worked my way back into the ranks. Wish me luck.
