Earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand

We had a major earthquake at 4.30am and it completely tore up our city. City Centre is ruined. Buildings have collapsed and the roads are munted. Our water and sewage pipes have exploded and so we have to conserve water. Power is only just being restored to some areas and Search and Rescue teams are scouring heavily damaged areas to make sure no one has been buried alive.

Shook up. We were out with Police early in the morning when the looting started. I was one of three CTTAG agents who was in Christchurch so we volunteered to help out. We were with S&R in the heavily damaged areas during the morning. Right now there is a fire in the centre of town and with water in low supply, this is gonna be a long night.

It's only getting worse. It won't be long before the Army is deployed.

65 dead as of this post, from what my cousin over in Wellington just sent me.


I hope Kyle and other people we know over there are safe.
