Psychovinnie I assume you've seen the blue image before (it was my avatar back then).
Vincent 'Psychovinnie' LaBrusco was one of the first anti-heroes that I've drawn as part of a four-year long comic series back in high school. Unlike most comic strip heroes, he doesn't have super powers or exceptional combat skills.
He's just plain evil... a silver-tongued sadist patterned after a plethora of real-life serial killers put in one personality. Sadly, there's not much to the actual comic series other than Vinnie victimizing people and the police hounding him. Still, the character stuck to me among my peers, as I created him.
The blue image was hand-drawn and painted on hard watercolor paper back in 2001. I cropped it in Photoshop and enhanced the background.
The black image was drawn last night using the graphic pen I've been practicing on. Since I still lack the technical finesse to manipulate my digital pen, I tried to go for a heavier mood that would represent Vinnie's core personality in one small image (hence the bust image). The end product kind of gave me the creeps at first, but hey... practice makes perfect
