There are some gameplay footage on Youtube also. I can give out 5 day buddy keys also, just let me know.
Before you ask, there is a $15 monthly sub fee, or if you feel like you might play it more often, a lifetime subscription that is $300. I got the lifetime for the pre-order special price, $239.
If you play with the 5 day buddy key, you may think that it is crap, but please remember that it has been out for less then a month. There are still issues that are being worked out and like any MMO, new content is going to be gradually release adding to the game's awesomeness.
If your interested, let me know and I will get you a buddy key via PM. Also, my ingame name right now is KBrown@KBrown24.

There are a crap load of people that play this game. On top of that, there have been at leat 4 patches worth of updates since the games official release of Feb. 2, 2010.
Purhaps you should actually read the website and forums before making such a statement.

OMG I WANT TO FLAME YOUR ... SO BADLY Purhaps?
...resisting... resisting....... Oh god.. I can't take it.
You completely misread my post. And completely derailed my post. Now, what you did was make me look bad. Thanks.
I said I want more members and more updates. 4 updates? SWEET
Toontown was released 7 years ago. When it was released, it was pretty basic. Several years later, millions of users joined. Along with that, new skills and areas were made.

Toontown does not hold a candle to the sheer number of Star Trek fans that have been waiting for this game since the release of Bridge Commander.

That is a good question. Check out www.Direct2Drive.com or some other direct download website. They usually give where the game is avaliable.

Just read some reviews about the game. Seems like it has lots of faults right now, might play it when they fix it.

Yea, I know, bringing up an old thread, but thought I would give an update.
Later this month, Cryptic will be releasing thier 2nd major patch for STO. They have added a crap load of contect and know are asking for us, the players, what the next playable race they want to see introduced. Thus far, the Romulans have the massive advantage with the Dominion and the Borg duking it out for 2nd. I think that poll is closed now. The game is still getting a good sized turn out, and Im looking forward to this new patch full of content.

Been awhile since I gave an update for this game. A shitload of new content, ships, missions, animations, and outfits. A great game that I can honestly say that it is well worth the sub for. There may be talk in the distant future of STO going free-2-play, but may depend on how well Champions Online does when they go free-2-play at the beginning of the year.
If you want to try it out, let me know and I will send you a referal code.
