| Because my friend Alex and myself wanted to leave the Special Air Service, it was suggested that we were re-assigned to the Counter Terrorist Tactical Assault Group (CTTAG). So for the next two days we will be in Auckland. The first day they will be taking fingerprints, blood samples and photos to have on file for the CTTAG system. The second day will be comprised of tests, one test will be a written one and the other will be a scenario. I'm not sure what the scenario is but I'm positive we'll ace it.
This is quite good as well because now I won't have to ship out and I can be with Jess and my family, they won't have to worry about me shipping out for six months at a time, they only need to worry if there is a terrorist threat in the South Island.
So hopefully we get accepted and hopefully we pass the tests with flying colours. I'll see you guys in a couple of days. Wish me luck!
P.S. - I might come online tomorrow morning because our flight doesn't leave until midday. |

| Not exactly X, but from what I remember about the NZSAS before, the CTTAG is focused more on urban affairs - more likely having them stationed virtually within their respective island. That is if I'm not mistaken; I've never been to NZ my whole life anyway. I could probably say I fondle goats for a living, but then it's likely that no one would question it if I was a total stranger in a different forum. Whatever it is you do, Kyle, we wish you all the best | |

| Kratos has actually shown pictures of him and friends in uniform and to be sure I've compared them to his facebook one lol. He is most defiantly part of a militant group. | |

| Yeah DF it's basically less tasking and teams are located due to where they live. @X-Autobot: I'm not gonna argue with you, Cole, because I don't care what YOU think. - Quote :

They obviously weren't going to show you my face, because I was in uniform. But they didn't black out my whole head so that I could show people a picture of myself out of uniform and then they could see the resemblance. Take care guys. |

| Military personnel keep a certain level of secrecy, X. That is necessary so that their operations or the identities of their personnel (so applicable especially to the SAS, who are indeed highly trained personnel) are not compromised. Considering that this is a public forum, the need for this is actually sensible. As for the pictures, from what I understand (as with police/military protocols within my country) you can only show images of deceased personnel (with consent of family) or of personnel who are delegated to represent the team/squad in public, such as a spokesperson. A more solid example is this: These guys are part of the ill-fated British SAS squad "Bravo-Two-Zero." All the unobscured faces are dead except for one, Chris Ryan, who escaped and lived to write about it. Chris Ryan, by the way, made SAS history by doing the longest escape and evasion by an SAS trooper or any other soldier, covering 100 miles more than SAS trooper Jack Sillito in the Sahara Desert in 1942. | |
