well i met you in zone 11 with steelclaw we were being attacked by hawk and her troops. i managed to take them out with my team though. you stayed in the zone and we talked...then we became good friends. months later we met for the last time and i became an elder.

The biggest hole here is what happened when you boys went to sleep (eventually) and the Men in Europe and Asia came out to play. It is a great regret that we could not retain the same sense of comradeship that you US gamers (generally) had.

Mind you there was also the age gap to breach - something difficult to do when one couldn't understand wtf you were on about half the time...

SleepRay - yes I fought him, and he tried to recruit me about 1000 times. As I'm sure he did you all too...I'm sure he started about 5 armies - the Dolphins or something, and then the Cloudfighters, pillowbiters or sumin.

Many of you discussed slugging it out with me, Dante/Kratos in particular, but never had the opportunity in that case - not from lack of trying form my side that is...

On this site, the players I fought most regularly were Foxy Lady, Dark Father (Hail!), Platinum Jack, Horrid (when he was Powa), Madcrush, Havoc (but not much), Adder, Deathportal, and of course last and definitely last, Choc Ice (Magnum)

All well respected colleagues of course. I don't think we will ever have what we had before again. And probably for the best as I put my life on hold to battle online.

I bet a number of you kids f**ked up your school work and exams as a result. I'm glad I went through school alreayd before finding the game.

No regrets as you recite 'do you want fries with that?' right guys? ;-)
