[Poll] Star Trek (Bound to be a fanatic)

Five and below is bad enough.

it was definatel an incredible movie.

I'm not a star trek fan, but I really enjoyed this movie. I felt so left out cuz i didn't get some of the punch lines till the end. T_T

I haven't seen it and chances are I won't, it has been marked a "nerds film" by my friends and most people in my town. Probably the only place people won't see it.

It's a matter of opinion. Not many will like this film just like not many like Star Wars. Both are great Science Fiction films, but they just can't grasp the concept because it is too complicated for them to understand. Star Trek has been seen by many to be a geek magnet by some. However, this fim goes to all audiences. Plus, with Abrams as the director and producer, who also produced the brillaint movie known as Cloverfield, the movie is garanteed to be a hit. I only found one reviewer who thought this film was anything but well done and original. Ebert Roepert.

Great movie, it fit in with the original series quite well too.

The movie does a great job of casting a modern version of the franchise that consist of amazing story boarding,believable settings , and one hell of a good cast of characters.

But sadly the original did not convey such action pacted sequences and occurrences as it should have and I and many others can only hope future Trek series can do the same.
