Hurricane Irene

Yeah soo, NY has been under a state of emergency for the past 24hrs due to this hurricane that's been passing thru. Many were scared, about 10 ppl are dead, and others, (including myself) were excited to get to see some kind of natural disaster here in NY! You have to understand.... nothing happens here. We're like, positioned perfectly on the earth so that we don't get hit by Earthquakes, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Tsunami's or anything.... but right now... we're getting all of those. HOWEVER!! Each one that has hit us, has been extra boring and light -___-. Irene is a joke and I'm bored outta my mind. Nothings happening but a little bit of wind and rain. Most exciting thing so far, is a brick that hit my moms car.... half a brick.....didn't even dent it -__-

Anyway, if you have family/friends here in NY, don't worry. I'm sure they're safe, as long as they're not outside (like my stupid neighbor walking her dogs). Only parts of NY that really had anything to worry about are areas near the water and below sea level ex: Coney Island, Long beach, Lower Manhattan and parts of Long Island.

Anyway, goodnight. I'm going back to sleep, due to boredom....

Yeah even we don't get the Hurricanes like we used to, I had one last year around this time. I lost power for 18 hours and that was it. Either way glad your safe, anyone else out there on the East Coast, take it easy and be safe.
