2012 - Myth or Scheduled Event?

So what are your opinions? Do you think we're all gonna die on the 21/12/12 at 11:11pm? If you believe we will, then post evidence that backs up the theory. Share with us the proof of our demise.

The real cause of the recent earthquakes are CMEs from the sun.

On February 24th, 2010, The Magnetic Filament erupted causing a coronal mass ejection. It was predicted that we would feel the effects on Feb. 27th and Feb 28th. So we waited, patiently.

Three days later...





And all of this happened in less than a week. But that's not the worst part. The worst part is that all of this is just the beginning...

my mom says, that all this is due to what the Bible says. Im not trying to be religious. but my mom says that everything the bible says about the storms and tsunamis and the earthquakes is going to come true.

thats my mothers belief. not saying its wrong or anything.
and for the 2012 thing, they said that about 2001 or 2000 they said it for 2009, and look here we still are.


if 2012 is the last time, then im going out playing transformers.

People predicted the world would end in 2000 because, well, it was the new millennium and they thought something bad was going to happen. Computers, Jesus, or something along those lines.

No. My point was that the people who thought 2000 was the end of the world were just looking for an excuse to get drunk. 2012 has been predicted by several different ancient civilizations, and modern times too.

It's not like some guy is on his computer and says "2000 wasn't the end? Oh well I guess it's 2012."

If you knew anything about the Mayan culture, you would realize that the day their calendar ends is the day this current period of creation ends.

The Mayans aren't the only one who realized something was going to happen around 2012. In fact, I'm not surprised you don't know this. You obviously don't understand their knowledge of astronomy, or how they were much more than "a bunch of indians".

Tui Bei Tu, Nostradamus, the Mayan Calender, the Bible and the Quran are some of the many sources that predict the end.

If these predictions are true, that's fine. If they are not, that's fine too.

I just want to go on in life.
