on the very first showing of revenge of the fallen, the midnight show alone made 16 million dollars

and they announced that they are gonna make a 3rd movie


so expect transformers 3

The storyline sucked in this one but there was a lot more action in it.
I am hoping that in the third one they find a way to put Unicron in it.

i would have a bookshelf of transformer movies, well, i already but, still, awesome!

So, you're trying to say that they should excecute the plot in a way similar to how Star Wars was?

That's not a bad idea.

Say that in the third one they somehow the Decepticons win the battle that is going on in the movie and leave it as a clifhanger. Then, in the sequel, the Autobots make a tremoundous comback.

Basically Hawk is right, you could do a long line of movies with TF. It has a world of promise.

The only reason I can see the Transformers series having a long line of movies is all of the content that transformers actually has.

Unicron and Galvatron haven't been used as major villians yet and there is still the possibility of a Quintessen movie.
