No, Hawkins, it's simply a man (correction; Cyborg) who wears a teddy bear on his head to remember someone who was killed in his past. His name is Kuma but his actual name is Jinnosuke. He was the friend of Afro Samurai, but because Afro turned his back on his only family (Jinno and everyone else from the school), Jinno is out for revenge against Afro for taking everything from him.
